TOM COOK Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Waters Funeral Home on Dec. 30, 2025.
Tom Cook, 52, passed away Monday evening, under the summer solstice moon, with his wife and sister at his side.
Tom was born in Marion, July 1, 1963, the son of Charles and Peggy (Glover) Cook, was a life resident of this area and graduated from Marion Bennett High School in 1981. He attended Ball State University and later, Ivy Tech in Marion, where he met the love of his life, Tina.
Tom was employed at R.L. McCoy Contractors, prior to his accident, was an avid boater and enjoyed going to the Salamonia Reservoir, where he was notorious for spraying "rooster tails" with his boat on people. He was very outgoing and didn't know a stranger, especially to others bound to wheelchairs. Tom would offer his generosity and assistance to anyone and his kind and loving nature drew people to him.

Four brothers, Terry (Lita) Cook, Tim Cook, Todd Cook and Ted Cook (Amanda Krim) as well as many, many nieces & nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews.
The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2016 at St. Paul Parish, 1031 W. Kem Rd., Marion, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of the mass. Cremation will follow.
