His two long time friends Sheri Bodine & Marilyn Anderson were with Tom 6 months prior to his death.
His mother, Cora, preceded him in death on July 5, 1993. His stepfather, Harold, preceded him in death on February 10, 1990.
Tom has three children.
Thomas served honorably in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1968, a period that reflected his dedication & commitment to his country. His service remained a meaningful chapter in his life.
Faith played an important role throughout his life. He found joy & connection in attending many churches throughout his life. Over the last 20 years he was committed to the Catholic community.
Beyond his spiritual life, he was an avid square & round dancer, embracing both the rhythm & the sense of community that dancing brought him.
A military service honoring Tomas's life & service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Willamette National Cemetery, see details below.
