Hello! It is Easter Day and I just had a detailed 'dream and Tom Kenny was in it! I woke up and I felt "that he was no longer around," so I googled his name at his last known residence in New Mexico, and I immediately had a hit on a recent Obituary on Tom Kenny. I have not seen him for decades, yet I could tell that it was him in his Obituary picture, and he was very into his vitamins and healthy eating regiments, so he looks about the same, but with whiter hair!
Tom knew my mother Kathleen, my younger brother Bobby, and myself 'Tricia' well in the younger decades of my life (childhood through my teenage years). He was a very generous and a profoundly interesting person who had my brother Bobby, an Aunt Terry, and myself (Tricia) out for an extended visit to him over the summers when he lived in Sherman Oaks, California in 1980, 1981, and 1982. He made my summer trip to be so exciting with my seeing his Studio at 'Universal Studios,' our going behind a set with 'Kiss Me Goodbye' with Sally Fields, introduced me to 'Kathy Lee Gifford' on the 'Johnny Carson Show,' introduced me to 'Ed Merano,' 'Joe Shaw,' and 'Veronica Hamel' from the 'Hill Street Blues' cast, introduced me to his next door neighbor (in his apt. too) of 'The Mayor Munchkin' from the 'Wizard of Oz,' dinner with a movie filmwriter-director & Tina, he took me to lunch in the revolving tower building in L.A., on a tour drive of 'San Fernando Valley,' to 'Malibu' rollerskating outside, 'Newport Beach,' 'Magic Mountain,' 'Disney Land,' and 'Santa Monica' firework display on the Fourth of July,1982. I have never forgotten the 1982 summer visiting Tom Kenny who was a good friend of the family when I was 17 years old and I would have loved to see again before he passed. God be with him and his familu. RIP Tom Kenny!!! Love Tricia Kilmartin-Long & the Millis, Massachusetts Kilmartin family.

Tom was a bright light in the recovery community. I had the honor of some memorable conversations and great laughs with him. May he rest in peace.

Dear Tom, I didn't know you but you and I have a mutual friend that loves you dearly and I love you for how much you helped her with monumental things in her life. Thank you for being the spirit she and the world needed. And thank you for your military service. I hope you are resting peacefully.
