Tom Bryan Welch passed on February 11, 2023 at his home in La Grange, Texas surrounded by his loved ones. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 18 at 2:00 PM at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange.
Tom Welch was born on August 5, 1951 in Baytown, Texas to Vernon Tom and Winifred June “Shivley” Welch. He married Hanna Dean Mitchell on July 18, 1981 in Clear Lake, Texas. They made their home In La Grange where they raised their three daughters.
Everyone that knew Tom, loved Tom. He had no filter and was hardheaded, but he was always happy and always joking. He was an amazing artist and showed much talent in his career in Paint and Body for over 50 years. Tom loved drinking his beer and having a good time. He was a very loving man and was so proud of his children and grandchildren. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by everyone that knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Hanna Welch; daughters, Sandra Mitchell (Ben Campos), Stephanie Welch and Kara Welch (Michael Machala); son-in-law, Joseph Kramer; grandchildren Sydny, Addysyn (Garrett Gillespie), Kaydyn, Harmyny, Tomas, Rowan, Liza, Matthew, Sommer, Kammie, Emmie, and William; special children to the family, Desiree, Layne and Brooke.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Winifred Welch.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Welch family for incurred expenses.
