Tomie Evel Obituary
Tomie was a hardworking man. He made a living driving a truck, but he could drive anything and enjoyed doing it. He did not like to sit around; whether he was digging wells, camping or headed to the Casino, Tomie loved to be on the go. He was an ace mechanic and had a 1932 coupe that he like to work on. He and his wife, Joyce, liked to take it when they would head out to area truck pulls.
He was preceded in death by his son, Clinton Evel; his parents; his sister, Charlotta; and by his son-in-law, Toby Kessler.
Tomie was survived by his wife of 20 years, Joyce Evel; his daughter, Teresa Kessler; three grandchildren, Tristin Evel and Kaitlyn and Ethan Kessler; his sisters, Loretta Ferguson and husband Gary, Jeanette Ochs and husband Mitch and Ethel Evel; and a host of other family and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
