Jeffrey Trogdon Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Jan. 21, 2026.
Jeffrey David Trogdon of Buffalo, MO, 49, passed away on January 20, 2026 due to health complications. Born on November 25,1976 in Sacramento, CA, Jeff's life truly began when he was welcomed into the hearts and home of David and Carol Trogdon of Strafford, Missouri, on December 18th as an early Christmas present.
From an early age, he was curious and inquisitive, always wanting to know "why." As a toddler, he never hesitated to ask questions, whether it was about life or even why his neighbor needed to stack so much wood in his backyard. When asked about his birthday, Jeff would proudly reply, "Turkey Day." One of Jeff's greatest accomplishments was traveling to Mexico with his church youth group, where he helped minister to children by providing food, assisting with hygiene needs, and supporting church services.
Jeff lived life entirely on his own terms. Those that knew him best knew that he was stubborn and was never one to take the easy path if it wasn't the one he chose for himself. Jeff enjoyed the simple things in life including playing with his dogs, fishing, working with his hands and helping those that were close to him.
Jeff attended Strafford High School and graduated in 1995. He entered the workforce working for his grandfather, Clyde Stewart, at Stewart Excavating. After meeting and marrying his first wife, Jeff moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Together, they had three children: Megan, Garrett, and Stephen. Later, Jeff would also welcome another daughter, Navaeh. During his time in Pennsylvania, Jeff worked several jobs to support his family. Eventually, Jeff returned to Missouri, where he worked various jobs in Bolivar, Lebanon, and Springfield, before settling in Buffalo, Missouri.
Jeff is survived by his children, Megan, Garrett, Stephen, and Nevaeh and his grandchildren, Wesson, Julian, and Raven all of Pennsylvania; his fiance, Kelli Wiseman, and her daughter
Triniti Haraughty of Buffalo, MO. He is also survived by his parents, David and Carol Trogdon of Strafford, MO; and his brother, Jason (Beth) Trogdon, along with his niece and nephew, Grace and Jagger of Strafford, MO.
There will be no public funeral service. A private family gathering will take place at a later time.
