Tommie Lawson

On September 25, 2025, Tommie passed away at Virtua Hospital. Born and raised in Ashland, Kentucky, Tommie enlisted in the Army during the Korean War serving for three years. After his honorable discharge, Tommie was stationed in Bellmawr and met his wife, Augusta. He worked as an oil tank cleaner for most of his life for Atlantic Tank International and then for Casie Protank out of Vineland. Most of all, he loved his town of Mt. Ephraim.
Tommie is lovingly survived by his wife, Augusta (nee Calloway); his three sons, Tommie Jr. (Debbie), Charles (Cathy) and Ray (Teri); his grandchildren, Christopher (Kelly), Michelle (Shaun), Crystal (Joe), Tommie Joel, Ray, Danny and Kasey (Caryn); his great grandchildren, John, Kendra, Makylah, Calem, Avery, Jaelyn and Shaun; his brother, Roger (Faye) Lawson as well as many special nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday, October 2nd from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Healey Funeral Home, 9 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, NJ followed by his Military Funeral Honors.
