Tommy Junior Davis, a dedicated heavy equipment operator, passed away on May 5, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, at the age of 69. Born on December 29, 1955, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, Tommy lived a life characterized by hard work and a commitment to family.
Tommy's career as a heavy equipment operator allowed him to contribute significantly to various projects and communities. He took pride in mastering his craft and was known for his reliability and skill. Throughout his life, his proudest accomplishment was his family, which included his beloved children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Andrea Cochran; his son, Jadyon Plank; and his grandchildren, Kaleb Kelley of Tushka, Oklahoma, Izzac Kelley of Mcloud, Oklahoma, Elli Howard of Bently, Oklahoma, and Kyla Cochran of Lane, Oklahoma. Also mourning his loss are his siblings: Roger Davis of Muldrow, Oklahoma, and Betty Sharp of Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Davis; his mother, Gladys Coughran; and his sisters Rachel Sessums and Stella Bland. He also lost brothers Patsy Davis, Ferril Davis, Sonny Davis, Carl Davis, and Cleve Davis.
The visitation for Tommy Junior Davis will take place on May 8, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at 463505 OK-101, Sallisaw, Oklahoma 74955.
Tommy Junior Davis will be remembered for his dedication to his family and his unwavering work ethic. His legacy will continue to live on through the lives he touched and the love he shared.
