Tommy W. Gogerty Jr. Tommy Gogerty, age 58, of Lockport, Illinois, passed away late in the evening on Monday, July 21, 2025, in his hometown. Born in December of 1966, Tommy was a kind and generous soul who found quiet, thoughtful ways to show love to his family. A former pipe insulator who worked various jobs throughout his life. Tommy was always willing to lend a hand and share whatever he had. He often joined family gatherings for the holidays, arriving with gifts or little surprises-cups from work that his great-nieces loved using for cup stacking, or extra plates or odds and ends he thought might bring joy. These small gestures were his way of showing up for the people he loved. Though life brought its share of challenges, Tommy remained independent, humorous, and deeply connected to those around him. He will be remembered for his thoughtfulness, his presence at the table, and the many subtle, sincere ways he made others feel seen. Preceded in death by his cherished parents, Thomas Gogerty Sr. (2024) and Konstantina (Nee Kriaris) Gogerty (July 11, 2025), and his beloved great-nephew, Nathan Wolf. Survived by his loving siblings, Mary Bobbie Greminger, John (Ann) Gogerty, Connie (late Paul) Ganz, and Sherri (Brad) Busch; his adored eleven nieces and nephews, fourteen great-nieces and nephews; his uncle, George Kriaris; and his faithful dog, Lulu. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Private family services were held.
