Tommy "Red" Eugene Ketner, age 90, of Kodak, passed away peacefully early on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a longtime member of Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church. Preceded in his homegoing by his wife, Lois Ketner; grandson, Cody Ketner; parents, Jessie and Bertie Ketner; brother, Junior Ketner; sister, Edna Mae Cate; brother-in-law, AJ Conner. Red will be greatly missed by his children, Debbie Franklin (Larry) and Tommy Ketner (Gwen Caldwell); grandchildren, Travis Franklin (Alison), Trevor Franklin (Kimberly), Tyler Franklin (Cameron), Dylan Ketner (Kyla); great-grandchildren, Millie, Lizzie, Mahayla, Emmett, Lainie, Easton, and Cooper; brother, Earl Ketner (Tillie); brother-in-law, Jim Conner(Kay); sister-in-law, Barb Conner and, many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 29th, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Fielden Funeral Home in New Market, with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Pastor Ronnie White officiating. Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, July 30th, at Eastview Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 AM graveside service. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Life Care of Jefferson City (especially the team of unit 2) for their wonderful care of Red, who became papaw to them these last 3 months. Fielden Funeral Home is honored to serve the Ketner family.
