Tommy Lester Obituary

Tommy was well known in the Brick Masonry profession as a master of the craft.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Grant Lester.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, two devoted daughters: Wanda Coleman (Charles) and Thomasina Williams (Paki); grandchildren: Candice Hamlett, Shemeka Bumpass, Darry Bumpass and Ananda Williams; eight great-grandchildren; his brothers: Joe Lester of Roxboro, North Carolina and Jerry Lester of Washington, DC; his sisters; Willamina Lester of New Jersey and Shirley Lester of New York; a special niece, Angela Lester; and a host of other nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 11:00am at Cunningham & Associates Funeral Services with Bishop Clevie Brandon, Pastor at Compassionate Ministries, Incorporated, providing the eulogy. Burial will follow at the Lester Family Cemetery on Jones-Lester Road in Person County.
Visitation will also be Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:00am to 11:00am when his body will lie in state for one hour prior to the funeral.
