Con profundo pesar anunciamos la muerte de Tommy Lujan, de 57 años, de McCamey, Tx, quien falleció el lunes 8 de abril de 2024 en el condado de Crane.

El velorio será de 10 a.m. a 8 p.m. el viernes 12 de abril de 2024 en la funeraria Shaffer-Nichols en McCamey, Texas. Únase a nosotros para un servicio de oracion a las 5:30 pm. 

Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo a las 11:00 am del sábado 13 de abril @ Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home. Oficiando el reverendo Luis Rodríguez. El entierro se llevará a cabo en el cementerio Resthaven. Los arreglos son de Shaffer-Nichols.

Tommy Luján nació en México el 7 de marzo de 1967, hijo de Salvador Luján y Carmen Orozco.

Recibió su educación en México. Tommy se casó con Ilda Luján el 13 de diciembre de 1996 en McCamey, Texas. Tommy trabajó como operador en el campo petrolero durante 31 años, un trabajo que se tomó muy en serio y la precaución siempre fue su principal prioridad. Uno de los mayores logros de Tommy fue cuando se convirtió en ciudadano de los Estados Unidos. Estudió sin cesar durante incontables horas para este gran logro. A Tommy le gustaba coleccionar antigüedades, juntar piedras, soldar, trabajar la madera, crear decoración industrial. Le encantaba hacer ejercicio y mantenerse saludable. El amor que tenía por su esposa, hijos, nietos y todos los que lo rodeaban es una de las muchas cualidades que extrañaremos mucho.

A Tommy le preceden en la muerte sus abuelos paternos: Maximiliano Luján y Julia Ríos, padre: Salvador Luján, abuelos maternos: Antonio Zúñiga e Ignacia Alaniz, padrastro: Ventura Orozco, hija: Cindy Luján, hijo Alex Adrián Luján.

A Tommy le sobreviven su linda esposa de 27 años casados: Ilda Luján, hija: Stephanie Ramírez, esposo Julián Ramírez, hijo: Miguel Ángel Luján, esposa Amy Luján, hijo: Nikolas Luján, hermano: Carlos Luján Sr. esposa Juana Luján, hermana: Irene Rodríguez esposo Gaspar Rodríguez, hermana: María Isela Rodríguez esposo Alonzo Rodríguez, hermano: Jesús Orozco esposa Maira Orozco, madre: Carmen Orozco, cuatro nietos: Yazmín, Madee, Rosabella, Julián Jr y 18 sobrinas y sobrinos.

It is with deep sorrow  we announce the death of Tommy Lujan, 57 years old, of McCamey, Tx whom passed away Monday, April 8, 2024 in Crane County.

Visitation will be 10 am - 8 pm Friday, April 12, 2024 at Shaffer-Nichols Funeral home in McCamey, Texas. Please join us for a prayer service at 5:30 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday April 13th at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Luis Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at the Resthaven Cemetery. Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.

Tommy Luján was born in Mexico to Salvador Lujan and Carmen Orozco on March 7, 1967.

He received his education in Mexico. Tommy married Ilda Lujan on December 13, 1996 in McCamey, Texas. Tommy worked as an operator in the oil field for 31 years, a job he took seriously and caution was always his main priority. One of Tommy’s greatest accomplishments was when he became a citizen of the United States. He studied so endlessly for countless hours for this grand accomplishment. Tommy enjoyed collecting antiques, picking up rocks, welding, wood working, creating industrial décor. He had a love for exercising and staying healthy. The love he had for his wife, children, grandchildren and everyone around him is one of the many qualities that will be greatly missed.

Tommy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Maximiliano Lujan and Julia Rios, father: Salvador Lujan, maternal grandparents: Antonio Zuniga & Ignacia Alaniz, stepdad: Ventura Orozco, daughter: Cindy Lujan, son Alex Adrian Lujan.

Tommy is survived by his wife: Ilda Lujan of 27 years, daughter: Stephanie Ramirez husband Julian Ramirez, son: Miguel Angel Lujan wife Amy Lujan, son: Nikolas Lujan, brother: Carlos Lujan Sr wife Juana Lujan, sister: Irene Rodriguez husband Gaspar Rodriguez, sister: Maria Isela Rodriguez husband Alonzo Rodriguez, brother: Jesus Orozco wife Maira Orozco, mother: Carmen Orozco, four grandchildren: Yasmin, Madee, Rosabella, Julian Jr and 18 nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Miguel Angel Lujan, Nikolas Lujan, Julian Ramirez, Carlos Lujan Sr, Ivan Rodriguez, Manuel Benavides, Gaspar Rodriguez, Jesus Orozco.

The family of Tommy Lujan wishes to extend our sincere thanks to family and friends for the continued support and much needed prayers.
