Tommy Ray Lynch

Tommy Ray Lynch, 76, went to be with his Lord Sunday, March 9, 2025 in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 12th at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial at Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Terry Brown will officiate. Pallbearers are Hudson Hornsby, Bronson Hornsby, Thomas Lynch, Chris Hornsby, Kelly Lynch, and Brad Lynch.

Tommy was born May 7th, 1948 to Jim C. and Jesse Jean (Long) Lynch in Decatur, Texas. He was united in marriage July 17th, 1971 to Patsy Sue Smith in Ft. Worth, Texas. Tommy was the owner of Kwik Kar in Decatur for 23 years. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many who will dearly miss him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Jesse Jean Lynch.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patsy Sue Lynch of Decatur; his son, James Bradford Lynch of Dallas; his daughter, Terri Ann Hornsby and husband Chris of Decatur; his grandchildren, Hudson Thomas Hornsby, Lara Elizabeth Hornsby, Bronson William Hornsby, Thomas Bradford Lynch, and Roxie Jane Lynch; his brother, Kelly Lynch and wife Lisa of Bridgeport; his sisters, Carolyn Holloway and husband Max of Houston, and Sandy Parker and husband Ricky Don of Alvord; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
