Tommy C. Smith 70 of Sissonville passed away June 22, 2015 at CAMC Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was born June 13, 1945 to Dewey and Virdeen Smith. Tommy retired from Broughton's Dairy after 25 years of services and was a member of the Grapevine Primitive Advent Christian Church. Preceding him in death were his parents, Dewey and Virdeen Smith and brothers, Mark, Jack and Eb Smith. Survivors include his son, Tommy D. Smith of Sissonville; daughters, Kitty Adams and husband Mark of Sissonville and April Shaffer and husband Tony of Elkview; grandchildren, Chase Adams, Brady Adams, Alexa Adams, Dallis Shaffer and Kassie Shaffer; sisters, Jean Parsons of Liberty, Edna Shamblin of Kenna and Teresa Thaxton of Gandeeville; mother of his children, Lorraine Smith of Sissonville; nephews and nieces; Jack Edward, Brad, Tammy, Becky, Sherry, Lisa, Betty Jo, Katie, Andrea and Ariel; aunts, Wilma, Jean, Mayvern and Colline; special friends, Larry Plumley, Fred and Sue Garrett, James Legg, and a host of family, friends and neighbors who are also left to mourn his passing. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday June 27, 2015 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Hammons officiating. Burial will follow in John Beane Cemetery, Sissonville. Visitation with the family will be 2 hours prior to services also on Saturday.
