Dr. Tom was a true gentleman and customer and ultimately became a very good friend. I had many opportunities to enjoy lunch with his awesome kids Dr. Jeff, Terry & Nancy. He loved life and could always be spotted at a music festival in Idaho as well. Thank you Dr. Tom for the chance to know you and be a part of your life.
Best,
Patrick

Tom Summe
I have the utmost respect for this fine man.
Dr. Summe loved The Lord and it showed in his character. He truly did marry the love of his life - Jackie - and cherished and honored her. He was a family man and a kind, courteous and thoughtful neighbor. A true gentleman in every way.

Dr Tom Summe, a caring intelligent physician who kept up with medicine so he could provide the best care for his patients. I remember the first time I met him, I was so impressed with his medical knowledge and kind heart. If I was having a bad day it improved because I was able to spend time with him. His smile and laughter was like a ray of sunshine.
But it was his spirit that defined him. That unmistakable sparkle in his eyes wasn´t just a personality trait; it was a reflection of his genuine love for people. We are all better for having known him.
Thank you to the Summe family for sharing your father with me. Sending condolences to you all.
Cynthia

My Dr Tom
What am I going to do without you?
You were always my steady hand, my safe place, the one whose heart was so big it made everyone around you feel seen, heard, and loved.
You shared Jeff and Nancy with me, and in doing so, you gave me a family I will treasure forever. I think of the dinners at Anthony´s , three cruises, the two trips to Hawaii, the laughter, the quiet moments, and the warmth you brought into every day-we were truly blessed to have you in our lives.
I know how much you cared for all of us, how deeply you gave of yourself without ever asking for anything in return. I feel so honored to have experienced your love firsthand, to have held your hand, and to have told you I love you the moment the angels came. My heart aches that you are gone, yet I take comfort knowing you are now with your heavenly family, surrounded by love and peace, just as you gave it so freely here.
Dr. Tom, I love you. I will never forget you. I will carry your laughter, your kindness, and your overflowing heart with me forever. My life is richer for having known you, and emptier now that you are gone-but your love remains, guiding me, comforting me, and reminding me how beautiful a life of care and compassion can be.
Love you Lynn

Dr. Tom was an inspiration to me and so many others. His passion for life was admirable. He brought joy, intellect, compassion, and strength to those he encountered. I am grateful and honored to have known him. He instilled his wonderful characteristics into his children, and his legacy will live on through them as well as his grandchildren. I always loved hearing his stories about his cruises and trips to the jazz festival that he loved attending yearly. I will be taking an Alaskan cruise in his honor next summer. May he rest in peace and may we have comfort knowing he is in heaven.

My Dearest Tom,
I miss you so much. I miss our long talks about life and music. I miss your laugh and kissing your forehead. I miss your bright blue eyes and your kind heart. You touched my life in such a big way, you helped shape me into a woman I am proud to be. You showed me that kindness ripples and the love you had for me made me feel so special and important. I loved learning about your life and how you became the man everyone adores. I am so grateful to meet all of your wonderful children. Seeing the love they showed you always was an honor. The way you spoke of your kids was so special. You were so proud of all of them! Thank you Tom, for everything. I will forever miss you my friend!

Dear Dr. Tom and Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences during this difficult time. Although I joined the clinic after you had already retired, I always felt your presence through the stories and the respect everyone had for you.
I will always remember the first time I spoke with you over the phone. I didn´t realize it was you at first and did my usual verification, thinking you were one of our patients. When I found out it was Dr. Tom, I felt genuinely happy and honored to finally speak with you. What stayed with me most was how worried you were about Ms. Nancy and how you called simply to make sure she had already left and was safe. That moment showed me the kind of loving, caring father you were.
You will be remembered not only as a doctor, but as a kind and devoted family man. My thoughts and prayers are with Ms. Nancy, Dr. Jeff and the entire family during this time of loss.

Although I never had the chance to personally work with Dr. Tom as he had already retired when I joined the clinic, I had the privilege of knowing his children who are truly kind, compassionate and wonderful people. Through them, I could clearly see the values and character he passed on which speaks volumes about the kind of man he was. From the photos they shared with me from time to time, it was inspiring to see how strong and full of life he remained. His life was clearly filled with love, adventure and purpose. My deepest condolences to the Summe family. May his beautiful legacy continue to live on through the many lives he touched
