Tommy Wayne Thomas, age 87, died peacefully in St. George, Utah on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. He was born January 5, 1938 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Howard Lynn and Martha Gobel Thomas. On September 22, 1956 he married Jeane Estelle Jarratt in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Tommy grew up in Hutchinson and Needles, California. He raised his family in Las Vegas as he worked as an electrician. He was a member of the IBEW 357 Electricians Union. In 1997 he moved his family to Overton where the resided for twenty years. They then lived for 22 years in Sunnyside, Nevada before moving back to Overton in 2021. Tommy always loved to fish and hunt. He had a home in Sunnyside Nevada and enjoyed many starry nights there. He enjoyed fellowship and worship at the Calvary Community Church here in Overton.
Survivors include his wife Jeane of Overton; one son and two daughters: Debbie (Mark) Hardy of Overton, NV; Terry of Lenore, TN; Jeri (Steve) Fisher of Sparks, NV; nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Sandra.
