Toni Ann Olejarczyk

Toni Ann Olejarczyk, 72, of Rome, NY, passed away on March 8, 2026, at Rome Health.

Born on April 27, 1953, in Rome, NY, she was the daughter of Antonio "Tony" Pettinelli and Jennie Aiello Pettinelli. She graduated from RFA in 1971. On October 10, 1981, she married the love of her life, James Olejarczyk, with whom she shared a blessed union. She began her professional career at the Rome DDSO, where she was a valued employee. She later dedicated over 20 years to her family's business, Tony's Ornamental Iron Works, where she was an integral part of the company until her retirement. She was also one of the founding partners of Just Breath Yoga Studio.

In addition to her passion for yoga, she enjoyed gardening, baking, crafting, playing cards with her longtime friends and celebrating special occasions and holidays. Her home was always warm and welcoming to anyone who stopped in for a visit.

She is survived by her beloved husband, James Olejarczyk, of Rome; daughter, Johnna Rockenstyre, of Rome; and grandson, Collin Rockenstyre, of Delanson, NY. She is also survived by many family members including Donald and Barb Pettinelli, Anthony John and Cynthia Pettinelli, of Rome and Robert and Candace Pettinelli, of Vermont; sister, Rene Cutler; sisters-in-law, Christine Olejarczyk, of Herkimer, Susan and Henry Keefer, Savona, NY and Mary and David Feagans, Hay Market, VA. She was beloved by her Godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a special group of friends.

She was predeceased by her parents; and her brothers-in-law, David Olejarczyk and David Cutler.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 4-7 PM, at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home, 7751 Merrick Rd., Rome. A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 11 AM, at St. John the Baptist Church, Rome.
