A true wanderer, Tonia traveled far and wide, carrying the soul of a gypsy and the warmth of a lifelong friend. She never met a stranger-only people she hadn't had the chance to love yet. Her adventures left countless stories behind, including the unforgettable tale of the bear in Tennessee, one of many memories her family will forever cherish.
Tonia is survived by her daughter, Ashley Mason, of Kirbyville, Texas; her son, Wesley Ladner, of Lumberton, Mississippi; and her cherished grandchildren, Jason Mason and Leland Mason. She also leaves behind a wide and loving circle of friends and family from all over, each touched by her kindness, laughter, and golden heart.
Honoring her wishes, Tonia will be cremated. She did not want a formal funeral or wake; instead, she asked that her friends come together and celebrate her life with a party-a gathering filled with joy, stories, and the same spirited energy she brought into the world.
She was dearly loved, deeply cherished, and will be profoundly missed.
