Tony Biery of Hubbard passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa.
Tony was born January 1, 1966, in Newton, IA, the son of Gerald Dean and Gay Myrtle (Hudson) Biery. He graduated from Collins-Maxwell High School in 1984. After graduation, he went on to do several different jobs. His favorite job was being a sheet metal worker at Dahl Air Conditioning and Heating. On October 14, 2013, Tony married Tina Flanders in a backyard ceremony in Maxwell, Iowa.
Tony loved motorcycles. He was an avid movie buff and according to Tina, he could recite almost every line from Harry Potter. He loved carpentry, the outdoors and loved all animals and nature.
Those left to cherish Tony's memory are his wife Tina of Hubbard; his son Gerald (Emily) Biery of Grinnell; two daughters Tamera Biery of Des Moines and Toni Biery of Tennessee; his brother John (Ronda) Biery of Ames; his sister Debra Nichols of Des Moines; his grandchildren Paxton Biery, Gerald and Vivian Biery, as well as his loving four-legged companion his beloved dog Mia. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, his brother in-law David Nichols and two very special friends "Papa" Vern Hickle and "Brother" Bill Bolo.
A private celebration of life is planned.
