Myone Brown Obituary
Kate was a Phys Ed and English teacher in her younger years. She was also a Sorority Mother in Lincoln, Nebraska. She also once owned a gift shop in Ames Campustown called the Blu Duck.
She is survived by her son Chad Huhn and grandson Jakobi Huhn of Nevada, IA; her sister Sally Hall of Stuart, FL; a brother-in-law Denny Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband William (Bill) Brown of Sloan, IA; her parents Lucy Coe and Albert Eckhoff, and a sister Pamela Joyce Brown.
A Remembrance Service will be held on Friday June 20th, 2025, at Heartland Baptist Church, 3333 Stange Rd in Ames at 2pm. A time of fellowship will follow the service. Family and friends are welcome to visit Myone's grave site at the Ames Municipal Cemetery at E 9th and Maxwell Ave, Ames.
