Tony Chappell Obituary
Mr. Chappell was born in Simpsonville to the late Alvin Richard Chappell and Joyce Faye Barton Chappell. He was a kind-hearted person and a tinkerer at heart – always working on something somewhere. Tony loved working on cars and small engines and was known by many as #23 on the go-cart circuits.
Surviving are a son, Matthew Jarvis-Chappell with wife Heather; a daughter, Lexis Barber with husband Jonathan; a brother, Terry Chappell; a sister, Tina Greene with husband Phillip; and three grandchildren, Opal Jarvis-Chappell, Malachi Barber, and Wren Barber. He was predeceased by a son, Mark Chappell.
A celebration of Tony's life will begin at 2 o'clock Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be held at 3 o'clock Monday at Cannon Memorial Park.
