Tony Dwayne Chrisp was born on July 2nd, 1983, and departed this life on March 28th, 2025. He was born to the late Evanna Diane Chrisp and Tony Wayne Thomas in Selma, NC.
He is survived by his grandmother, Martha Godwin; his sisters, Renita Chrisp, Tyesha Bristow, and Lashunda Jacobs; and his brothers, Jermaine Chrisp and Phillip Thomas, as well as several step-siblings. Tony was a proud father to three daughters—Zaniya Chrisp, Amia Chrisp, and Joselyn Chrisp—and a loving father figure to thirteen stepchildren whom he cherished deeply.
He is also survived by a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and by his devoted wife, Michelle. With his loving wife Michelle, Tony found a love so rare—a partner in life, a bond beyond compare. Together, they danced through laughter and tears and created a lifetime of beautiful years. Her unwavering support and gentle embrace filled his days with warmth and peace. Though they are now parted, their love remains—in memories cherished, through joy and through pain.
