Tony Cobb Obituary
Tony Rogers Cobb, 72, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, in his home after a long illness.
Tony was known for his love of fishing, his passion for golfing, and his laugh. Tony worked for 29 years at the James River and Southwest Power Plant for City Utilities in Springfield where he made many lifelong friends.
Tony leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Ann; his brothers Tim & Connie, Tom & Wanda, Terry & Debbie, Troy & Sharron and Ty & Jan; his sisters Tammy Grant and Tonya & Khris; in laws Rick and Kathy Osenga, Dan and Julie Osenga, James and Kirsten Osenga. Plus many many nieces, nephews and greats. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Mildred (mama bear) Cobb, his sister in law Vicki Cobb, brothers in law Mike Grant and Tom Osenga and great nephew Kody Cobb.
A private memorial will be held in the spring to celebrate his life. Fishing will be involved so bring your poles and tackle.
