Tony Cochran Jr.

Mr. Tony Cochran Jr., 48, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at his home. He was born in Laurel, MS on Friday, September 16, 1977 to Tony Andrew Cochran Sr. and Pamela Kay Bunch. Mr. Tony was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. He worked as a Driller at Scandrill, Inc. for 20 years. His passions were the oil field, chopping wood, and spending time with his grandbabies. Mr. Cochran is preceded in death by his mother, Pamela Kay Bunch; grandfather, James Craig Bunch; grandparents, Andre and Hazel Hendry; and grandmother, Myrtle Holcomb.

He is survived by two sons, Brayden Alexander Cochran (Kristen) of Waynesboro, MS, Braxton Cruz Pierce of Japan; daughter, Christian Brooke Reynolds (Austin) of Shubuta, MS; father, James Craig Bunch of Waynesboro, MS; eight grandchildren, Eliana Reynolds, Lyla Cochran, Khyzer Reynolds, Grayson Pierce, Caleb Cochran, Renalyn Reynolds, Lena Cochran, Alorah Reynolds; two brothers, Eric Scott Bunch (Rhonda), of Waynesboro, MS, Hunter Cochran, of Waynesboro, MS; sister Holly Cochran of Waynesboro, MS; the mother of his children, Gennie Cochran, of Waynesboro, MS; mother-in-law, Flora Pierce, of Waynesboro, MS; grandmother, Betty Bunch, of Waynesboro, MS; and aunt, Gloria Kelley, of Waynesboro, MS.

Visitation for Mr. Tony Cochran Jr. will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Evergreen Baptist Church, Shubuta, MS. A Graveside Service will be held at 4:30 PM Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Hendry Family Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Bro. Josh West officiating. Interment will be in Hendry Family Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
