Tony Cross Obituary

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Walter Cross and Pauline Cross.
Tony worked at Star Paper Tube for 40 years. He loved cars and working on them. Tony also loved all his friends and family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Cross; sons and daughter-in-law, Anthony Cross of Dalton, and Michael and Amber Cross of Dalton; daughter, Tabitha Wheat of Chatsworth; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Steve Duzan of Cayce, SC; brother, Bobby Cross of Dalton; grandchildren, Tyler Cross, Kameron Cross, Austin Cross, Mason Cross, Makayla Cross, Julie Wheat, Brittany Wheat, and Jason Wheat; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
The funeral service will be held at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Homes on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Noel Caldwell officiating and Steve Duzan giving a eulogy.
The family will receive friends at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Homes on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the service hour of 1:00 PM.
Burial will be held in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
