Reverend Tony Lamar Estes, 57, of Ball Ground took his heavenly flight home on March 7th, 2024. Tony was a faithful and devoted servant of his Lord. He pastored Settendown Baptist Church for 26 years and saw many souls saved and baptized during his time as pastor. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He loved spending time with his family and church family, and dedicated his life to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Gina Estes, and daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Dawson Rickett of Cumming; father and mother, Tommy and Brenda Estes of Ball Ground; brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Joyce Estes of Ball Ground; nephews, Micah and Lucas Estes; a number of other nieces, nephews and relatives.
Tony is preceded in death by his brother, Reverend Tommy Estes; grandparents, Chap and Nettie Estes and Ancil and Ruby Stewart; mother-in-law, Gracie Faye Grant.
Funeral services will be held Saturday March 9th at 3:00 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Estes, Rev. Ted Estes, and Rev. Dawson Rickett officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Cumming.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, March 8th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 9th from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
