Tony was preceded in death by his mother Virgina Hoodenpyle Stone, and Grandparents Henry Early Hoodenpyle and Loie Powell Hoodenpyle.
Tony had many cousins and close friends. Tony loved his mountain community of Lone Oak and was a member of the Lone Oak Baptist Church. He enjoyed raising his dogs, old cars and historical Nascar. He worked many years managing Town and Country Properties in Chattanooga. Tony most of all enjoyed being kind and giving to others and especially yellow roses in honor of his mother.
Procession will leave from Ewton Funeral Home at 2 PM C.S.T. Tuesday October 21 for a Graveside Service at the Hoodenpyle Cemetery. Service will be conducted by Pastor Jonathan Milligan, Reverend Steve Brandon and Andrew Johnson. Pallbearers will be Clifford Hall, Greg Lockhart, Marvin Johnson, Arron Johnson, Tommy Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Steve Brandon and Jonathan Milligan. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tony's honor can be made to the Lone Oak Baptist Church at 943 US 127, Signal Mountain, TN 37377.

Tony has been a friend of our family, since we were kids. Dad rented the house on Taft Highway from Early. He and Early would come to see us. Dad and Early would visit and after we got a small black and white TV , Tony and us girls would watch movies and eat popcorn. Great times. He has always been a friend to all of us!!! So, so sad to hear of his passing!!! He will be missed bye all who knew and loved him!!!
