Tony Hughes Obituary

Tony Hughes, 47 of Smyrna, TN. went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 4, 2022. Tony was born on September 22, 1974.
Tony was preceded in death by his grandparents, JR Hughes, Jr., and Janie Chestnut Hughes, as well as an uncle, Carl Dean Hughes and nephew, Preston Thomas. He worked as a Parts Advisor at Freeland Auto Group in Nashville. Tony was kind, loving and big-hearted individual who was always the first to offer of himself in any way needed. He never met a stranger and truly had the ability to make friends with anyone he encountered. He was a fan and follower of Tennessee Titans football, his beloved Miami Hurricanes and some would say he bled FORD Blue. He was a member of RCSO Citizens Academy Alumni Association as well as RSCO S.C.A.N. and his patriotism was unmatched.
Mr. Hughes is survived by his mother, Janice Thomas, and stepfather, Danny Thomas, both of Bellevue, TN., his fiancé, Shelley Stidham of Smyrna, TN, 2 brothers, Shane Hughes (Tracy) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Danny Thomas Jr, of White Bluff, TN, his sister, Laurie Cook (Job) of Mt. Juliet, TN. 2 nephews, Ethan Thomas and Drew Cook, a niece, Savanna Cook, beloved cousins, Brian Hughes and Kyle Hughes.
He also leaves behind his beloved furry kids, Lilly Belle, Mogwai and Nashville.
The family will be holding a private memorial service
Family has requested house plants, in lieu of flowers.
