Mr. Tony L. Jewell, Sr., age 61 years old, of Pearson, Ga., got his wings on Monday, April 1, 2024, at his home following an extended illness. He was born February 20, 1963, in Warner Robins, Ga., the son of Theo Levi and Caroline Niceler Jewell. Mr. Jewell made his home in Pearson and made a living and enjoyed driving trucks. He was a member of Willacoochee Church of God and is preceded in death by his father; Theo Levi Jewell, mother and stepfather; Carolyn Niceler Davis and husband M.J., wife; Sandy Jewell, 2 brothers; Mike Jewell and Charles Ladson, stepdaughter; Amber Peters, and grandson; Tre Jackson. Mr. Jewell enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling, yard work, playing bingo, cornhole, and cards, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.

2 Sons: Tony Jewell, Jr. of Pearson, Ga.
Josh Jewell and wife Lindsey of Ray City, Ga.
2 Daughters: Santana Yancey and husband Joseph of Pearson, Ga.
Porshua Wilson and husband Christopher of Pearson, Ga.
Sister: Rebecca Scott of Pearson, Ga.
Brother: Jack Jewell and wife Donna of Atlanta, Ga.
Grandchildren: Logan, Lacy, Katie, Kaden, Hunner, Marrissa, Chelsea, Zane, Chase, Cameron, Alex, Haven, Heaven, Halen, Lucas, Jaylen, Jace, and Isaiah
Mother of his children: Patricia Newbern of Nashville, Ga.
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives, along with many loved ones and friends also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Jewell were held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Relihan Funeral Home Chapel in Pearson, Ga. with Josh Jewell officiating. Special musical selections included, "Go Rest High", "Only God Knows Why", "I Can Only Image" by cd. The interment followed in Willacoochee City Cemetery with special song, "Jealous of the Angels".
Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
