Tony Kinnear, age 62, of Leon Junction, passed away on August 29, 2025.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Post Oak Cemetery in Oglesby, Texas.

Tony Kalin Kinnear was born on January 20, 1963 in Fort Hood, Texas. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. A man of many talents, Tony found joy in the simple things. He had a passion for fishing and enjoyed creating his own lures. He was a skilled woodworker and a clever inventor, always finding new ways to make his work around the property easier. Tony also had a creative side, enjoying baking and developing his own recipes. He cherished quiet moments spent on his porch and loved riding to the tank to sit on the dock and feed the fish with his loyal dog, Bonnie. Above all, Tony lived for his grandchildren and deeply loved his church family.

Tony is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 44 years, Theresa Kinnear; mother, Anita Jean Burgess; father, James Burgess; and sister, Shea Winkler and husband Steve. He also leaves behind his three children, Brandon Kinnear and his wife Nancy, Alan Kinnear, and Devan Kinnear and his wife Staci. Tony was the proud grandfather of Jackson Kinnear, Elli Kinnear, Jenson Kinnear, and Molli Kinnear.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Brandon Kinnear, Alan Kinnear, Devan Kinnear, James Burgess, Gene Redmon, Jackson Kinnear, Jenson Kinnear, Steve Winkler, Jesse Zimmerman, Jared Green, Samuel Shepard, Dennis Curtis, and Jennifer Bohnenblust.
