Tony Curtis Nicholson

Tony Curtis Nicholson, 66, passed away peacefully on December 2nd, 2025, at Hospice of Randolph in Asheboro, North Carolina. Born on September 26, 1959, in Guilford County, NC. Tony lived a life defined by dedication-to his family, his work, and the open road.

After graduating from high school, Tony served two years in the United States Army. His time in the military instilled in him a deep sense of discipline and commitment that remained with him throughout his life. Following his service, he found his calling as a truck driver. Whether navigating long hauls across the country or making local deliveries, Tony felt most at home behind the wheel. Trucking was more than a profession for him-it was a lifestyle that reflected his independent spirit and love for travel.

Tony embraced life with enthusiasm and found joy in simple pleasures. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and cherished the freedom of the open road. He enjoyed shooting pool with friends and spending time around horses. A nature enthusiast at heart, he held a special admiration for the bald eagle-his favorite bird-appreciating its strength and grace. In quieter moments, he found comfort in watching movies.

A man of faith, Tony was rooted in his Baptist beliefs and took solace in being a saved man. His spiritual conviction brought him peace during his lifetime and now offers comfort to those who mourn him.

Tony is remembered for his generous heart and unwavering devotion to those he loved. His caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Cecil; daughters, Casey Nicholson, Heather Allen, and Jennifer Bullins; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Scott Nicholson and Randy Nicholson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mott Nicholson and Annie Starling and his brother Glenn Blankenship. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Tony's memory will live on through the many lives he touched with his kindness and strength. May his journey continue peacefully down roads eternal.
