Maurice Adam Ratliff
September 22, 1976 – November 4, 2025

Maurice Adam Ratliff gained his heavenly wings on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Born on September 22, 1976, in Charlotte, North Carolina, he was the beloved son of Ann Rose Chambers and the late Richard Adam Ratliff.

Maurice was a proud graduate of Asheboro High School and later worked for Black & Decker, where he was known for his steady work ethic and humble nature. He carried a quiet strength, a gentle spirit, and a heart that loved sincerely.

Maurice had a deep love for music, especially playing the drums. His rhythm, passion, and talent could be felt beyond the beat-music was one of the many ways he expressed his heart. He also valued fellowship and worship at Look to Jesus Church under the leadership of Pastor Dexter Trogdon, where his faith continued to grow.

Maurice leaves behind to honor and cherish his memory: his devoted mother, Ann Rose Chambers; his sisters, Linda Liles (Salisbury, NC) and Shunda Ratliff (Lilesville, NC); and the memory of his late brother, Richard Ratliff. He was a loving uncle to his nephews, Carvis Ratliff and Jamis Harkin Jr., and his nieces, Tonya Ratliff, Belinda Wall, Diamond Ratliff, and Nakia Thomas, as well as a host of family and friends who loved him dearly.

Maurice may not have always spoken loudly, but his life spoke volumes. He loved quietly, lived genuinely, and will be remembered forever. Today, we honor his journey, celebrate his life, and find peace knowing he now rests in the arms of God.

Gone from our sight, but forever in our hearts. Rest in Heavenly Peace, Maurice.
