Jimmy was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church. He was retired from Ford Motor Company. Jimmy loved traveling, camping, video games, fishing and boating. He was an avid UK basketball fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Marjorie Endicott Ratliff and his son, Alan Hoskins.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Judy Ratliff of LaGrange, his sons, Raymond Ratliff (Norma McGee) of Arkansas, David Ratliff (Sherry) of Shepherdsville, his daughter, Cora Hughes (John) of Lawrenceburg, his grandchildren, Brandon Riggs (Tawana Jackson), Brittany Lindell (Lacey Boggs), Stacy Hoskins-Haynes (Brandon), Jason Hoskins (Sarah), and 5 great grandchildren, Gage, Alex, Gideon, Sam and Rhys.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 13, 2025 at the Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4-8 P.M. Wednesday, November 12th and after 11:00 A.M. Thursday until time of service. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
