FULTON-- Tony Dean Thompson, 61, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo. He was born November 7, 1963 to Bobby Gene Thompson and the late Linda Lanette Cook Pollock. He was saved at an early age at Lakeland Baptist Church. Tony enjoyed hunting, fishing, lawn care, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren..
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday February 22, 2025 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. C.W. Franks officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday February 21, at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his father, Bobby Gene (Carolyn) Thompson, of Fulton; daughter, Amanda (Chris) Farris of Mantachie; grandchildren, Cameron (Alivia) Thompson of Houlka, Landon Farris of Mantachie, and Aleah Farris of Mantachie; sister, Angie (Ricky) Rayburn of Mantachie; brother, Ricky (Brenda) Thompson of Fulton, and mother figure, Betty Stembridge of Mantachie.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Lanette Pollock; granddaughter, Bailey LaShae Farris; maternal grandparents, Walter and Bertha Cook; paternal grandparents, Roland and Minnie Lee Thompson; and cousin, Teressa Knight Brown.
Pallbearers will be Cameron Thompson, Landon Farris, Dusty Thompson, Josh Thompson, Kenneth Lynch, and James Hinds.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Thompson, Ricky Rayburn, Stevie Thompson, Chris Farris, and Jase White.
The family would like to thank all of the staff and nurses, especially Nicole Hester for the care provided to Tony and the family during his sickness.
