Tony Dean Weber

The family of Tony Dean Weber, 78, is deeply saddened to announce his passing on Sunday, September 21, 2025.

Tony was born on March 13, 1947, in Bemidji, MN, to William and Juanita (White) Weber. In the summer of 1968, he met the love of his life, JoAnn, and together they began a journey that spanned more than 50 years of love, laughter, and devotion.

As a young man, Tony entered the insurance industry and quickly found success as an individual agent, a business that later grew into a flourishing agency that reached clients across the country. Though he received numerous awards for his achievements, it was the friendships he built along the way that he treasured most. He had a way of captivating any room, whether it was his witty one-liners or a joke you might have heard before, Tony was fluent in a language that made you laugh.

Tony's greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, JoAnn; his sons Ryan and Jonathan (Michelle); and his grandchildren Matthew, Katherine, Christian, and Colin. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Tony never missed a chance to support those he loved-whether at ball games, track meets, or recitals, you always knew "Pa" was in the stands, his voice carrying above the crowd.

He will also be dearly missed by his siblings, Lucille (Eddie) Knudson and Rita (Paul) Maltrud; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, William and Juanita (Schlee) Weber; his sister, Connie Schlee; brothers William "Jack" Weber and Ricky Schlee; brother-in-law Ronny Schlee; and several other relatives and close friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Saint John Neumann Church in Eagan, MN, from 9:00–10:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 10:00 a.m. Tony will be laid to rest at Prairie Oaks Memorial Eco Gardens in Inver Grove Heights, MN.
