Life Journey Tony Ray Wilson entered eternal rest Thursday August 7, at his home in Carlisle. Tony was born January 18, 1958 in Chicago IL to Julius Starks and Katherine Wimberly. A loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, Tony never met a stranger and loved getting to know people of all walks of life. He grew up in Chicago IL and relocated to Carlisle AR a few years ago. In Chicago Tony worked in lawn care and as an auto detailer: this was evidenced by how well he kept his car clean and shining. He was a loyal member of the Historic Revelation Church of God in Christ where he served on the deacon's board. Tony could be counted on to participate in all aspects of the life of the church whether blowing leaves and grass off the parking lot or providing snacks for the youth Sunday school classes to unlocking and the prepping the building for church services. He would always say "I believe in putting in the work." He will be sorely missed. Tony is preceeded in death by his father Julius Starks and a close cousin, Albert "June"Johnson. Left to Cherish his memories are, Son, Antonio Maberry (Stephanie) of Chicago IL, Mother. Katherine Wimberly of Chicago IL, Brother Rev. David Jones (Lynn) of Chicago IL, Sister, Min. Linda Fentress (Ronald) of Nashville TN, Sister Brenda Campbell (Patrick) of Chicago IL, Sister Arnese Wilson of Carlisle. Four Grandchildren, Jorden, Mariah, Jamila and Alani, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
