Tony Dwayne Wortham, age 63, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, September 12th. Tony was born on September 1st, 1960 in Paragould, Arkansas to parents Wilburn Wortham and Marie "Jones" Hayman. Tony grew up in the Paragould area and worked for many Years with the Emerson company, where he travelled the country and to even different countries while working with the company. Tony enjoyed being on the water at the lake and especially riding his motorcycle. Tony had been through a lot in life, but you wouldn't have known it just meeting him. No matter who you were, you would always be greeted with his big smile and him holding his cup of water or unsweet tea. Tony had a big, warm heart and was always the person that tried to please and make everyone that was round him happy.
Tony is survived by his brothers Randy (Mary) Wortham of Paragould, Arkansas, Doug (Tammy) Wortham of Hardy, Arkansas, and Jeff (Penny) Wortham of Paragould, Arkansas; sister Tabitha Wortham-Sweaney of Paragould, Arkansas; his companion Lisa Carter; as well as by numerous other family members and friends.
Tony is preceded in death by his daughter Brynne Lexi Wortham; his parents Marie "Jones" Hayman and Wilburn Wortham; sister Donna Howard; and step-fathers Robert Hayman and J.C. Gibson.
Services for Tony will be held at Fairview Baptist Church in Paragould, with visitation services being held on Sunday, September 17th from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and funeral services being held on Monday, September 18th at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at Greene County Memorial Gardens in Paragould.
