Tonya Pfaff Hooker

Mrs. Tonya Pfaff Hooker, 65, passed away Wednesday September 28, 2022, in her home. She was born February 2, 1957, to the late Clarence Pinkston Shoaf and Mary Smith Rothrock. Tonya was truly loved by her family and will be missed greatly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother; Dennis Shoaf and a brother-in-law Donnie Tuttle. Tonya is survived by her daughter; Mary Hooker (Scotty), granddaughter and love of her life; Sarah Hooker, three sisters; Jeanette Martin (Roy), Denise Tuttle, and Jowanna Law, one brother; Mark Shoaf (Ginger), a sister-in-law; Darlene Shoaf, and her stepfather; Joesph Rothrock. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her neighbor Mike Holcomb, and family, for always helping when she was in need. The family would also like to thank the Stokes County Dispatch, Sheriff's office and EMS for their care. A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday October 5, 2022, at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with Rev. Justin Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday October 4, 2022, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.
