Tonya was a good friend to me. She blessed my life with kind words and always a hug. She will never be forgotten, and when I feel alone I will think of her, and always of her kindness and love for and to me. I am grateful for the testimony she so willingly shared about our Heavenly Father and His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and our Friend, whenever she had the opportunity. Always, it was a good time for her to do that, always! I will miss you, my dear friend! I know that you will be busy in the Spirit World sharing the gospel and your love with all you come in contact with, that's just you!! Tonya, I love you and look forward to your hugs again someday!! Love, Sylvia Vacher

I only met Tonya once. At her celebration of life. But it was enough to know what a brave and beautiful soul she is. Just like her mother, Roslyn, she is full of faith, hope and charity toward all.
She has a beautiful smile and a tender heart.
I only met her once, but it was enough, and had a profound impact on me, and how I should act in the face of trials.
I am happy that she is with loved ones.
Not too far away.

Her testimonies of Jesus Christ were amazing and heartfelt. I remember a few of them to this day and her understanding of the plan of salvation was great.

I attended two different wards with Tonya over the past 15 years or so - Bountiful 8th and Kimball Mill. Somehow, it seems we always sat one row in front or behind each other, so we said `hi´ a lot. I knew Tonya had some health challenges, but she was a living example of how putting God first and letting Him prevail brought peace, despite everything she was living through.
I have strong memories of hearing her testimony in many Fast and Testimony meetings and, in the times we attended the same Sunday School class, I deeply admired the way she could take any topic and answer the instructor´s questions in a way that brought the subject into day-to-day life, giving everyone a little bit of an insight into the way living those principles brought a little more light into her life.
