Tonya Marie Sidebottom

Tonya Marie Sidebottom, age 55, of Jensen Beach, Florida, was born December 30, 1969 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas to Patricia Anne Cole and Robert Earl Houston.

A troubadour at heart, Tonya enveloped a simple life- investing and dedicating her time to build a family that reflects on our life with gratitude and contentment.

Tonya moved to the Florida Keys in 1987 where she graduated from coral shores high school with high honors and a 4.0 GPA. Tonya was married to William T. Sidebottom in 1990 and they shared 25 years of marriage. Raising three children in paradise, Tonya was passionately devoted to preserving the honor of a humble life, rooted in the Word of God, tender, and unconditionally loving. Tonya and her family moved to Port St. Lucie in 2003 where her children graduated high school in college, and began families of their own.

Tonya Sidebottom was a successful and talented seamstress, and enjoyed working on a myriad of different projects, from wedding dresses to aircraft interiors. She owned her own business and worked both from home, as well as launched several successful storefront locations throughout Martin County. Tonya Sidebottom, custom sewing of Jensen Beach will be operated by her family.

Tonya was a spirited, strong, talented individual who enjoyed a diverse spectrum of hobbies from playing piano, surfing and skateboarding, to restoring classic cars. Tonya was truly a one of a kind woman, always putting others needs before her own, and always finding a way to give more than she had.

Tonya leaves behind her three bereaved children, Sissy M. Krumfolz, Dallas J. Sidebottom, and Cody J. Sidebottom, as well as her five beautiful grandchildren William, Capri, Maximus, Isabella, and Isla. Tonya is survived by her mother, Patricia Cole, and siblings Matthew Houston, and Joseph Houston, all residing in Texas.

Tonya was a victim of domestic violence and her life was taken tragically and unexpectedly on August 10, 2025. We will stand with Tonya and fight for justice against a senseless act of hate and aggression.

A Memorial has been placed in downtown Jensen Beach in honor of her life, light, and legacy. She will be remembered as the loving, compassionate, dedicated, fun, free spirit that she was. Rest in heavenly peace, Tonya, we love you.
