Bigham MortuaryTracey Glynn Stauss, 58, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on
September 19, 2025, at 6:20 pm, surrounded by loved ones.
He was born in Irving, TX, on December 8, 1966, to Jack and Shirley Stauss. Tracey was easy-going and enjoyed
spending time with anybody and everybody. He enjoyed going to the lake, spending
time with family and friends, and watching TV in his later days. In his earlier days, he
worked as a mechanic and spent his free time riding four-wheelers, camping, and living
life to the fullest.
Tracey was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Shirley Stauss. He is survived
by his spouse, Kathy Stone Stauss, stepchildren, Savanna Powell, Cody Stone, and Christina
and husband Seth Ashley, James Stone, and grandchildren, Mace Lewis and Rhyan Lewis.
Rylie Ashley, Sadie Ashley, Emory Stone, and Emmett Ashley. He is also survived by
brother Thomas and wife Monica Stauss, nieces/nephews Whitney and husband Mark
Maglott, Brittney, and husband Tray Moore, and Bodhi Stauss. Great nieces include
Elyse, Ari, Mya, Naomi, Alyssa, and great nephews Harrison and Trevor. Many others
who called him Papa will miss him dearly.
Tracy will be remembered as the outgoing, fun-loving man who would give you the shirt
off his back and not ask questions. He had a gentle soul and a kind ear when you needed
someone to talk to. He brought life to gatherings and always reminded us to “don’t
sweat the small stuff”. He felt his life was complete with his family in it and loved them
fiercely.
This isn’t goodbye, this is see you later.
