Tracie Renee Carmack
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tracie Renee Carmack, age 55, on Friday April 4, 2025. Tracie was a beacon of love and warmth, whose kindness touched everyone she met. Her greatest joy in life was her family, whom she cherished above all else.
Born on August 15, 1969, in Sweetwater, Tennessee, to Emma and Harvey Lee Bowers, Tracie lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to her family. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met.
Tracie's home was a haven filled with love, laughter, and the happy barks of her beloved dog, Honey. She was also a fiercely loyal fan of the Atlanta Falcons, sharing her passion with those she loved. Tracie was a loving mother to Katie and Bethsheba, and she held a profound love for her grandchildren, Nevaeh, Damien, Dimitri, Arabella, Hunter, and Kylie. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, imparting wisdom, offering support, and showering them with unconditional love. Her home was a sanctuary, a place where her children and grandchildren always felt safe and loved.
Tracie will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and the people she cared for as a compassionate caregiver. Her most generous gift of all was giving her precious time and her caring heart to her children, grandchildren, and those who became her family as she cared for them in their homes. Her sense of humor was a glowing light to those around her. Her strength and gentle spirit always provided an anchor of hope to those in need. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
In her final act of generosity, Tracie chose to be an organ donor, giving the gift of life to others. Her selfless decision will leave a lasting legacy of hope and healing.
She is survived by her loving mother, Emma Lorene Bowers; daughters, Kaitlyn Stakely (daughter-in-law) Lacey Cheyenne Stakely and Bethseba Thacker; brothers, Tommy Pace and Danny Pace; sisters, Lisa Mitchell and Scarlett Best; grandchildren, Nevaeh Smith, Damien Summers, Dimitri Barton, Arabella Barton, Kylie McNabb, and Hunter McNabb; and nephews, Jeremy Scott and Harley Mitchell. Tracie is predeceased by her father, Harvey Lee Bowers. Tracie's loving spirit and unwavering support will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. May her memory live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service to celebrate Tracie's life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Brenda Gentry officiating, at Forkners Chapel United Methodist Church, in Sweetwater. Sweetwater Memory Chapel in charge of arrangements. www.kykerfuneralhomes.com
