Tracie Jean McPherson, age 51, of Southaven, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Baptist DeSoto Hospital after a bravely battling multiple illnesses.  She was born in Memphis, TN on February 16, 1972 to Betty (Murphy) Coleman and the late Bobby Gene Coleman, Sr.

Tracie worked as a hairdresser at several salons.  She enjoyed watching movies and listening to music with her daughter, Briley, loved to dance, camping, boating, riding her SeaDoo, and anything to do with the outdoors and adventuring.  She was the most loving, caring, and giving person you could ever meet and had a heart of gold.

In addition to her father, Tracie is also preceded in death by her cousin and best friend, Kevin Bass.

In addition to her mother, Tracie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Briley Coleman, brother Bobby Gene Coleman, Jr. (Kiara), aunts Laneita Evans, Judi Holm (Gary), and Teresa Hardin (Mike), uncle Harold Murphy (Susie), nephew Gavin and niece McKenzie, and numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Twin Oaks Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 pm.
