Tracy Dixon Obituary

Tracy Michele (James) Dixon, age 57, of McDonough, Georgia passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 10, 2025. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 5, 1968, preceding her in death, her mother and step-dad, Sandra Kaye Huff Corbett and Byron Keith Corbett.
Tracy was a woman of extraordinary strength, love, and vibrancy, passed away after a courageous and unrelenting fight against cancer. Her battle was fierce and inspiring, she fought with a determination that left all who knew her in awe.
Tracy's personality was as unforgettable as her presence. She was witty, outspoken, and vibrant, yet carried a tenderness and sweetness that endeared her to everyone she met. She never met a stranger and had a gift for making people feel seen and loved. A true giver at heart, she poured herself into others, often putting their needs above her own, even when it cost her.
She loved life in all its details from savoring good food to tending to her beloved plants and gardens. Tracy's extraordinary memory was a gift she used to bless others; she never forgot a birthday or holiday and faithfully mailed cards to those she cared for. Her attention to detail was unmatched, everything had its place, and she always knew if something had been moved.
Music was one of Tracy's greatest joys. She loved all genres, could hold her own in any music trivia game, and enjoyed trivia nights at her local Mexican restaurant. Her intelligence, humor, and wit always shined in those moments.
Above all, Tracy was a family woman. She was a devoted and loving mother, sister, wife, and protector. She shared a special bond with her mom, "Grandy", walking through both the good days and the hard days together, and treasured their outings to LongHorn. Tracy's mom recently preceded her in death, and there is comfort in knowing they are reunited once again, continuing the bond they shared so deeply here on earth.
Tracy loved hard and lived fully. She surrounded herself not only with her family but also with a circle of friends who were more like sisters. Her life was one of generosity, thoughtfulness, and love. Her legacy is carried on in the countless lives she touched with her kindness, laughter, and strength. She will be remembered always as a tenderhearted soul who loved hard, gave freely, and never forgot the people who meant the most to her.
She leaves her husband, Sean Dixon; children, Reilly Dixon, Christopher (Hannah) Dixon, Douglas (Tiffany) Dixon; grandchildren, Gage, Cami, and Miss Cora Reilly on the way; sister, Stacy Dawn (Al) McAllister; nephew, Kenneth (Nicole) McAllister; her father: Alan James; as well as several extended family members and a host of friends.
A service to honor both Tracy and "Grandy" will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 beginning 2:00 PM in the East Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Join us in celebrating their lives and the special bond they shared. Though deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing they are together again in eternal peace. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.cannonclevelandfunerals.com.
