Tracy Ann Ferryman 75 of Bourneville passed from this life on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at her home. She was born February 14, 1947 in Bainbridge the second of four daughters born to the late Francis E. “Fat” and Marcella Wurzbach Cowman.
She was happy as a child and enjoyed playing with her sisters and many cousins. One of her fondest childhood memories was spending time with her maternal grandparents John and Daisy Campbell Wurzbach and her paternal grandparents Charles and Nell Storts Cowman. Grandma Daisey was the “fun granny” and Grandma Nell was quite the disciplinarian.
Tracy was a 1965 Graduate of Paint Valley High School and Joseph DeLuca Academy of Hair Design. Following graduation, she began her career as a cosmetologist and nail tech, working for more than 50 years before retiring in January 2018.
On June 8, 1995 in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri she was united in marriage to the late Donald “Don” Ferryman. She was the mother of Samuel B. “Sam” (Melissa) Mark of Bourneville and the late Jason L. “Red” Snyder. Tracy was the grandmother to Joshua Mark, Anthony (Rachel) Morell, Timothy (Tori) Morell, Hannah, Lillian and Nathan Snyder. She was the sister of Alicia (Paul) Martin of Bainbridge, Loveris (William) Rhodes of West Plains, MO and the late Francine Myers who is survived by her spouse Mike Myers; Tracy was also an aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Tracy enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her church family. She also enjoyed vacationing in Outer Banks, NC.
A Celebration of Tracy’s life will be held at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home in Bainbridge on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 where the family will receive friends from 5-7 pm. Interment in the Bainbridge Cemetery will be at a later date.
