Tracy L. Higdon, 44, of Erie passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. She was born in Erie on February 25, 1981, a daughter of the late, Winfield L. and Debra A. (Watson) Peters.

Tracy graduated from Central High School. She enjoyed playing bingo with her mother-in-law, Patricia. She loved riding motorcycles with her husband, Dan, they belonged to the Teamster Horsemen Motorcycle Association Chapter 40 North West. Tracy had an intense love of traveling and fantasizing about future trips.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel J. Higdon, children, Alyssa Higdon, Lindsi Higdon, and Daniel J. Higdon, Jr., siblings, Theresa Peters (Donald), Roger Peters, Angela Austin (Bert), Laveda Kestel (Greg), In-laws, Rick and Patricia Higdon, sister-in-law, Stephanie Davis (Michael), and her dogs, Atlas and Wishbone. Many nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, Tracy is preceded in death by her dog, Zeus.

Friends are invited to Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2502 Sassafras St. Erie, PA 16502 on Monday, March 3, 2025 from 4pm until the time of the service at 6pm. Send condolences to www.kloeckerfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tracy's family through the funeral home.
