Tracy Ann "Moo Moo" Conyers-Shuler was born on December 20, 1968, in Manhattan, New York, the beloved daughter of the late Matthew Conyers, Sr. and Helen Shaw Conyers. On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, she peacefully transitioned from this life at Canterbury Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Richmond, Virginia.

Tracy's early years were spent in the Bronx, New York, before moving with her family to Sumter, South Carolina at the age of fifteen. She attended Furman and Hillcrest High Schools and proudly earned her General Educational Development Certification in 1997. With a passion for learning and personal growth, she went on to study cosmetology at Chris Logan's Academy, later receiving an associate's degree in business management from Central Carolina and a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Phoenix.

A woman of steadfast faith, Tracy was a devoted member of both Quinn Chapel AME Church and Legree AME Church, where she joyfully lifted her voice in the Adult Choir. Her spirit of service extended into the Order of Eastern Star, where she joined Martha Chapter 12 on May 14, 2007. Through dedication and leadership, she rose to serve as Worthy Matron of Martha Chapter 12, District Associate Matron, and ultimately District Matron of the Columbia/Sumter/Rock Hill District. She also faithfully served with Heroines of Jericho of Cleopatra Court #580 of West Columbia, SC. She served the Palmetto Grand Court HOJ as a Grand Ark Bearer, and later received her Crusaders Degree with St Mary Council #4, also of West Columbia, SC. Being ever so faithful to continuing service, she became an Honor Lady with St Mark Court #3 of Amaranth (West Columbia, SC). Her Masonic journey was marked by loyalty, perseverance, and deep commitment until her health declined.

Tracy will be remembered for her radiant smile, her strength of spirit, and her unwavering devotion to her family and community.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Sue Montgomery Conyers; aunt, Charlotte "Cookie" Lewis; and uncles, Mark and Luke Conyers.

Her legacy of love lives on through her husband, Illya R. Shuler of St. Matthews, SC; her cherished daughter, Kiara Woods of Sumter, SC; precious granddaughter, Karissa Woods of Sumter, SC; bonus daughter, Jasimine Jones (Lenard Hudnal) of Columbia, SC: bonus son, Illya Shuler (Delilah Shuler) of Lexington, SC; Godchildren, Benicia Lovely and, Terrana Thornton, both of Suffolk, Virginia, Shatavia Beale of Charleston, SC and Kornica Ballard of Sumter, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and special friends all of whom will continue to celebrate her life and honor her memory.
