Travis Leon Brown, 85, of Dalton, Georgia, changed his address to his heavenly home

on December 4, 2025, at Hamilton Medical Center, where he was surrounded by his

loving family. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 70 years, Conjetta Arlene Brown,

also his four children, Phyllis Cook (Ricky), Ricky Brown, Patsy Roberson (Troy), and

Scott Brown (Tammie), 9 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-

grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and many other extended family members.

Travis was a loving husband, father, papaw, and brother. He was a lover of Jesus and

the Word of God. He loved bluegrass and gospel music and could make a guitar sing.

He was an extreme hunter and fisherman who loved the thrill of the sportsman's game.

He was an avid golfer who was quick to let you know about his back stroke and golf

game. His competitive spirit ruled every family game, considering he made up the rules

as we went. He loved to tell corny dad jokes that forced everyone around him to laugh

in his presence. He was the patriarch of our family and will be sorely missed, but we

know he is in the arms of Jesus and we will see him again soon.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, integrity, and quiet strength that will continue to

guide all who knew him and for generations to come.

He is proceeded in death by his father Homer Brown and his mother Leola Crider (Pratt)

and numerous other family members.

Celebration of life will be conducted on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 13th at Dalton Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until the service hour.
