Travis W. Earp, age 61, of Mt. Airy, MD passed away on Monday, October 1, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents John R. Earp Jr. and Lois J. Morgans. He was survived by his son and daughter Travis (Jake) and wife Gabriele Earp and Hannah Earp and fiance Jon Laws; grandson Carson; and siblings Jack Earp, Kim Stull, and Kristi Ahlquist. Travis loved his children and adored his grandson.
Travis will be remembered for literally giving you the shirt off his back. He was best when he was helping others. He inherited his Pap's gifted hands and could fix just about anything. He could build things without ever writing anything down. He loved working on his motorcycle and had been refurbishing his Harley for years.
If you spent time with Travis you heard him say "I'm not here for a long time, I'm here for a good time." Travis was all about keeping things fun. He enjoyed being with friends and family, hosting BBQs, and cooking. He had a love of the outdoors and in his younger years enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing. More recently he resumed his boyhood hobby of breeding and raising pigeons.
In his words "peace out." Those who knew him have peace in knowing he is free of worry and pain.
