Travis Alan Litt, a beacon of kindness and humor, left this world too soon on March 24, 2025, at the young age of 31. Born on November 5, 1993, in Plano, TX, to Garry and Laurie Litt, Travis was a loving son, a caring brother, and the best uncle, whose gentle soul touched the lives of everyone he knew.
Travis grew up in Heath, TX, where he was a familiar face around town, contributing to the community with his boundless energy and infectious laughter. He graduated from Rockwall Heath High School in 2012 and went on to attend the University of North Texas, where he further cultivated his diverse interests and talents.
A man of many passions, Travis was best known for his love of cooking, a skill he lovingly showcased by preparing holiday meals for his family. His culinary journey started early, with a preference for gourmet paninis over the typical peanut butter and jelly sandwiches of his peers. His love for the Dallas Cowboys was matched only by his passion for cars, which he expressed by restoring a classic Mustang alongside his father.
Travis's love for the outdoors was evident in his enthusiasm for four-wheeling, golfing, boating, and spending time in the mountains. The beach was a sanctuary for him, where he found peace in the rhythm of the waves. He cherished every opportunity to laugh and loved playing cards with his family, embodying the very essence of the life of the party. Above all, he shared a special bond with his dog, Jerry Lee, whose loyalty and joy mirrored Travis's own. Jerry Lee was always by his side, a constant companion in all of Travis's adventures.
A loving son to his parents, Garry and Laurie, Travis was a pillar of support and joy in their lives. He shared an unbreakable bond with his sister, Shelby, her partner Derek, and his adored nephews, Liam and Beckham. His grandmother, Georgia Osborne, held a special place in his heart, as did his half-sister, Natalee Owen, and her children, Hunter and Gracee. His extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends will miss his radiant presence.
Travis will be remembered as a beautiful person, both inside and out. His great personality and loving nature made him a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend. His departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but his memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
We take comfort in knowing that Travis's legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will live on in the stories shared by his family and friends. His spirit will remain a guiding light for all of us, encouraging us to embrace life with the same wholehearted joy that he did.
